A wave of high-profile sponsorship withdrawals has hit the Wireless Festival following the controversial decision to book Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, as the 2026 headliner. On Monday, April 6, 2026, beverage giants Pepsi and Diageo officially severed ties with the event, citing the rapper’s history of antisemitic rhetoric and past praise for Nazi ideology.

A California judge has granted rapper Lil Nas X entry into a mental health diversion program following his arrest in August 2025. The artist, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was charged after an incident in Los Angeles where he was accused of attacking police officers while wandering nearly naked. During a hearing on Monday, the judge ruled that the charges against him may be dismissed if he successfully completes the program and remains law-abiding for the next two years. I'm thankful. Just very thankful, Hill told Rolling Stone after the hearing. It could have been much worse.

The contentious divorce between Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann has taken a significant turn regarding the care of their four minor children. A Cobb County Superior Court judge issued an order stating that all four children will remain in Biermann’s physical custody until Zolciak completes a series of mandated therapy sessions.
The ruling by Judge Kellie S. Hill comes after Biermann filed emergency documents alleging that Zolciak had failed to comply with previous court-ordered parenting requirements. According to the new mandate, the children, KJ, Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane, will stay with their father from April 3 through at least April 13, 2026. During this window, Zolciak is required to attend four “parent therapy” sessions with a court- appointed professional.
The court order explicitly states that the parties will only resume their original joint parenting plan once a Guardian ad Litem independently verifies that Zolciak has completed all four sessions. “Once Mother completes her four sessions as required, the parties shall resume operation under the existing Court Ordered Parenting Plan,” the document reads.
Biermann’s latest legal push follows claims that Zolciak was “wholly unavailable” for several weeks due to filming obligations abroad. He further alleged that she missed several previously scheduled counseling sessions in February and March. In a particularly alarming claim, Biermann noted that during the single night Zolciak recently spent with the children, one of them was bitten by a dog, which he cited as evidence of a lack of proper supervision.
Zolciak has pushed back forcefully against the “homewrecker” and “unfit mother” narrative. In a statement to TMZ, she clarified that she has not “lost” custody permanently, but rather that the schedule was modified to accommodate her therapy sessions during the children’s scheduled spring break with their father. She attributed her absence to working on two television projects to support the family financially, stating, “I refuse to be bullied or have lies twisted into a narrative about who I am.”
The former couple, who were married for 12 years before filing for divorce in 2023, have
been locked in a high-stakes battle involving their Georgia mansion, significant tax
debts, and the future of their children. The court will likely review Zolciak’s therapy
progress later this month to determine if the joint custody arrangement can safely
resume.

The managing director of the Wireless Festival, Melvin Benn, has defended the decision to feature Kanye West as a headliner, calling for forgiveness for the rapper. His comments follow a significant backlash that saw sponsors withdraw and politicians criticize the event. Benn argued that second chances are becoming a lost virtue, while Jewish groups have condemned his support for the star given West's history of antisemitic remarks.
The star released a song called Heil Hitler and sold swastika T-shirts last year. He later apologised and blamed his bipolar disorder. Phil Rosenberg, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, said that the Wireless boss's statement will not reassure many within the Jewish or other communities.
The government is reviewing if West, 48, should be allowed to enter the UK. Benn, who leads Wireless Festival's parent company Festival Republic, said he is a deeply committed anti-fascist and lived on a kibbutz, a community in Israel, for many months in the 1970s.
In a statement, he said: What Ye has said in the past about Jews and Hitler is as abhorrent to me as it is to the Jewish community, the prime minister and others that have commented and - taking him at his word - to Ye now also. Benn also said he has had someone in his life for the past 15 years who suffers from mental illness and has witnessed many episodes of despicable behaviour that he had to forgive.
If I wasn't before, I have become a person of forgiveness and hope in all aspects of my life, including work, he said. He added that West has a legal right to come into the country and to perform in this country.
This January, West apologised in a full-page advertisement in the Wall Street Journal, writing: I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. He said he regretted and was deeply mortified by his actions and that his bipolar disorder meant you're manic, you don't think you're sick.

Rebecca Crews began experiencing symptoms years before her official Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2015. A non-invasive, sound wave-based procedure recently helped ease some of her most difficult symptoms. She is now speaking out for the first time, hoping her story encourages others facing similar battles.
On a morning that felt heavier than most, Rebecca Crews reached a breaking point. Exhausted and overwhelmed after days without sleep, she found herself searching for relief in prayer.
“I felt completely drained,” she recalls. “Like I couldn’t keep going.”
That was when her husband, Terry, walked in with a sense of urgency—and a bit of hope. He had come across information about an innovative treatment designed to target Parkinson’s symptoms using focused sound waves. Having spent years researching options, he believed this might finally offer some relief.
“I told her this could be different,” he says. “Something worth trying.”
Months later, that moment would mark a turning point. After undergoing the procedure, Rebecca noticed a significant reduction in the tremors that had once controlled her daily life. For the first time in years, there was progress.
“The reason I’m sharing this now,” she explains, “is because I finally have something positive to say.”
Her journey, however, stretches far beyond that breakthrough. Years before her diagnosis, subtle signs began to appear—numbness, stiffness, and small lapses in coordination. At first, they were easy to dismiss. Over time, they became impossible to ignore.
Even after seeking medical advice, clear answers were slow to come. When the diagnosis finally arrived, it confirmed what she had long feared, but also strengthened her resolve.
“I chose to fight,” she says simply.
Through medication, setbacks, and even a separate battle with cancer, Rebecca continued pushing forward. Terry remained a constant presence, determined to support her in every way he could.
“We face this together,” he says. Today, while the road ahead remains uncertain, the couple is focused on progress, faith, and the belief that better days are still possible.
