Terryon Ishmael Thomas, famously known as Mr. Prada was arrested in Dallas, Texas in connection to the death of a 69 year old therapist and life coach in Baton Rouge. District Attorney Hillar Moore said the charge changed from second-degree murder to first-degree murder because of the victim’s age. During the investigation, Thomas was identified as a person of interest in connection to the death of local therapist William Abraham.

Less than a year after igniting romance rumors with the former cast member of Dawson's Creek, the Oscar winner revealed that she is single and that Yoyo, her cat, is the only guy in her life.

In an interview that was published on October 9 in Harper's Bazaar UK, Lupita stated, My love for my cat is singular. If I'm ever so lucky to be in a romantic relationship again, it'll be because of him.

Regarding the orange tomcat, she went on, I was prepared to close that door, lock it, and bolt it. He's made sure my heart stays open.

In October 2023, Lupita adopted Yoyo from the Best Friends Animal Society. That same month, she and Joshua were spotted together at a Janelle Monáe performance in Los Angeles.

In order to celebrate Lupita's 41st birthday, the couple went on a PDA-filled vacation to Mexico in March, which elevated their relationship to a new level.

Joshua was married to model Jodie Turner-Smith for four years prior to their romance, and she filed for divorce last year. Jodie, who has a 4-year-old daughter with the Dr. Death actor, stated that their official date of separation is September 13, 2023, in court filings.

Lupita dated sports commentator Selema Masekela for approximately a year prior to declaring their breakup, prior to her relationship with Joshua. In an October 2023 Instagram Story, she stated, It is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust. I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception.

But I am reminded that the magnitude of the pain I am feeling is equal to the measure of my capacity for love, Lupita continued at the time. I'm making the decision to deal with the suffering, developing the bravery to accept my life as it is, and having faith that this too shall pass.

In retrospect, the actress from Black Panther feels that her split from Selema was a learning experience for her.

You frequently ask yourself, Why? Which indicators were present? How come I missed them? If so, what prevented me from acting upon them? she posed to Harper's Bazaar UK. Reliving events and reflecting, Oh, I experienced this anxiety, but I disregarded it, is another thing. Why did I overlook it?

Even though Lupita has no regrets about expressing her emotions so freely, she now wishes to go on and keep her relationships—breakups and all—out of the public eye.

It’s hard enough to go through heartbreak privately, she noted. When the world has an image of you in relation to someone else, it prolongs the healing process because the memory is emblazoned in the public domain.

SAFAREE SAMUELS VLOGS ABOUT GOING TO NICKI MINAJ’S TOUR, YEARS AFTER THEIR BREAKUP.

Rapper Nicki Minaj has been going viral for the past few days, with fans coming to her defense, after her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels attends her Miami tour. Safaree had previously joked about attending one of Minaj’s concerts. Videos surfaced on social media after the show and captured the fellow artist having a great time, excitedly rapping along to some of the Queens rapper’s hits. Safaree was sporting a denim vest
and matching jeans, sunglasses, and a drink in his hand.

“I’m proud no cap… a lot of y’all will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud,” the father of two tweeted following the show. Nicki Minaj and Safaree were once the “hottest” couple in Hollywood, however, their breakup affected their professional and personal life. They were aspiring rappers who both shared a mutual passion for Hip Hop. Prior to their professional journey together that kicked off a few years after they met, the pair started dating. Their partnership would eventually last for over a decade.

Nicki Minaj is currently married to her childhood sweetheart, Kenneth Petty while Safaree has two children with ex-wife Erica Mena. After the pair broke up in 2014, more than a decade after they met, Safaree claimed he had played a huge role in Minaj’s career. He claimed he wrote most of her songs, something she has been disputing. Minaj fired back, claiming Safaree was simply trying to tear her down.

Following Safaree attending Nicki’s Miami tour, fans seem to be divided, with most questioning his intentions. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “No MALICE? You went on a whole press tour spreading lies about you writing for her… what you’re doing is stalk-ish and obsessive.” Despite his statement, many fans continue to reference the former couple’s turbulent breakup, with some criticizing his past behavior towards the rapper. There were other users who came to his defense and echoed his sentiment. “I love the fact he doesn’t let his ‘hatred’ towards his ex hold him back from giving Nicki Minaj her flowers. Maturity is real,” one person wrote.

Music mogul Sean Diddy Combs was arrested and charged with numerous crimes including sexual harassment and trafficking. His latest victim, Thalia Graves filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he and his then bodyguard Joseph Sherman raped her in 2001. She claims the two recorded themselves violently raping her while she was dating one of Diddy’s employees. She went ahead to allege she was dragged and taken into a room at the bad boy building.

According to TMZ, Thalia might be lying after the news outlet obtained text messages between the couple, trying to sue Diddy because “he’s the one that has the money.” In the text messages, she offered him $3M to back up her story. The message then shows Graves telling her then boyfriend that if he corroborates her story of assault, she’ll pay him, allegedly typing, “What do you n$3 mil?”

TMZ spoke to the man and he confirmed that the text messages were real. He claims that he believed she was trying to bribe him, therefore, blocked her on all platforms shortly after. Diddy’s team apparently have copies of the leaked text messages between Graves and her ex-boyfriend. This comes after Grave broke down in tears after filing the lawsuit, saying, “I’m glad he’s locked up, but that’s a temporary feeling of relief.”

According to Complex, Gloria Allred, Graves’ attorney, claims that Diddy is just the latest example of a wealthy man using his status to attempt to silence a victim. Allred told the outlet that she wasn’t buying the text message story and that “our client is looking forward to her day in court.” It is allegedly believed that Graves asked Diddy’s then bodyguard, to go along with her story. He shared them on social media, claiming that people are using his name as a scapegoat, saying, “You’ve got the wrong name, I’ve never seen you… I’ve never been in the same room as you.”

Tina Knowles recently shared some heartfelt parenting advice. Honored atGlamour’s Women of the Year Awards on October 8, she stood alongside other influential moms, celebrating at The Times Square EDITION in NewYork City. Known as the mother of Beyoncé and Solange, Knowles offered words of encouragement to mothers who may be facing challenges.

During a red carpet interview with PEOPLE, she acknowledged that theteenage years can be tough but assured parents that things will improve. “I believe that while the teenage phase is the hardest, it eventuallygets better. The love and support you give come back to you,” Knowles shared.

In her speech, Knowles, 70, reflected on motherhood, which she considers her most fulfilling role. Beyoncé, who was in attendance, watched ashermother spoke of their family journey. “I’ve had many careers, but being a mom is the most rewarding,” Knowles said. She emphasized that raising her children has been her greatest accomplishment. Besidesvher daughters Beyoncé and Solange, Knowles has also played a motherly role to Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child.Rowland joined the event in support of Knowles, adding to the emotionalatmosphere.

Knowles also spoke about her transformation into a devoted mother. “As a young adult, I was a bit of a rebel, often going against the rules. But once I became a mother, I made a commitment to give my all to it,” she said, becoming visibly emotional. The camera captured Beyoncé tearing up with pride as her mother’s words touched her.

CISSY HOUSTON, GOSPEL ICON PASSES AWAY AT 91

Cissy Houston, the renowned gospel singer and mother of the late Whitney Houston, passed away on Monday at the age of 91. Her family confirmed that Houston, who had been battling Alzheimer's disease, died peacefully in her New Jersey home while under hospice care.

Houston, a two-time Grammy Award winner, left an indelible mark on the music world with her decades-long career. “Our hearts are filled with pain and sadness. We lost the matriarch of our family,” said her daughter-in-law Pat Houston. She described Cissy as a “strong and towering figure” who greatly impacted the lives of those around her.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1933, Cissy Houston was the youngest of eight children. She discovered her passion for singing at a young age, forming a gospel group with her siblings. As her career flourished in the 1960s, she co-founded the R&B group The Sweet Inspirations, which became one of the most sought-after backup vocal groups of the time. They performed alongside music legends such as Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, and Otis Redding, and even lent their voices to Van Morrison’s iconic track "Brown Eyed Girl."

After her success with The Sweet Inspirations, Houston pursued a solo career, working with superstars like Chaka Khan, Paul Simon, Beyoncé, and her own daughter, Whitney Houston. She won her first Grammy for the 1997 traditional soul gospel album _Face to Face_ and another for _He Leadeth Me_ the following year.

Apart from her contributions to music, Houston was an author, with one of her most notable books being _Remembering Whitney: A Mother’s Story of Life, Loss and The Night The Music Stopped_, published after her daughter’s tragic passing in 2012.

Cissy's daughter-in-law Pat praised her immense contributions to music, noting that her more than seven-decade career would remain at the forefront of their hearts. She also expressed gratitude for the many years the family had with her.

As Cissy Houston joins her daughter Whitney and granddaughter Bobbi Kristina, her family remembers her as a legend whose legacy will live on
in the hearts of her fans and loved ones.
