Detroit rapper, Dank Demoss appeared on the breakfast club to further explain her experience with Lyft and call for inclusivity. Dank Demoss has caused a lot of online debate following her interview during the breakfast club. Demoss who refers to herself as ‘obese’ asked for a bigger chair during the show and was presented with a couch. “This is what I’m talking about. Good. This is accommodation,” she said while sitting down.

Ayesha Howard has revealed text messages with Anthony Edwards, who is supposedly her unborn child’s father. In the messages, Edwards tells Howard that he will not be involved in the child’s life, therefore she should get an abortion. “I’m pregnant, wanted to tell you in person but you gave me no other choice. We probably should have kept it cordial but we’re here now,” Howard wrote in the text message.

Despite Anthony Edwards encouraging Howard to get an abortion, Howard claims that getting an abortion is not an option. She also insisted that her intentions were not to blackmail him. She wrote, “ I can keep you updated through the process or I can disappear until the babies here… it’s on you. Either way, I’m done going back and forward cause you still think it’s a joke.”

Anthony Edwards went ahead to call her sick and insisted that he won’t be in a child’s life that he does not want. Following the texts messages being shared online, social media users have had mixed feeling, with some blaming Ayesha Howard for dating a younger man.

“ We have all become so numb, ungrateful and disrespectful of the ability to reproduce and give life that abortion has been desensitized. You are so accustomed to seeing, hearing and being raised by women who had to be the village after abandonment, this society has normalized cowardly behavior. Now the blame is put in the woman on innocent babies while the man is continuously protected,” Howard wrote on Instagram.

She concluded by writing, “I’m happy with mine. My daughter is a God – given gift, not a mistake. The act was consensual and my baby is not to blame. It’s my body, my choice, my right, my mind. I’m not imposing what you should do with your body, so please respect my choice with mine. To any woman navigating single motherhood stay strong and stand tall for your babies. The wrong is in abandonment, not in the blessing of reproduction.”

Singer, R. Kelly, who is currently serving a 30 year prison sentence for sex trafficking and racketeering has received more news concerning his case. The Manhattan 2 nd U.S circuit court of Appeals upheld the RnB singer’s sex trafficking and racketeering conviction. Kelly had previously filed an appeal noting that prosecutors failed to prove that he recruited women and underage girls for sex in a racketeering scheme and violated them.

Kelly’s attorneys argued that he did not operate a racketeering enterprise because his employees were unaware of the ages of his young victims and therefore lacked any criminal intent. The circuit court of appeals has however rejected their argument and maintained that the singer is guilty.

“The record is replete with evidence that Kelly was able to commit the predicate acts because he was the head of a close – knit group of associates and he controlled the affairs of the enterprise,” Judge Denny Chin wrote, explaining the three panel’s decision. “For instance, members of Kelly’s entourage participated directly in a predicate act when they devised a plan for Kelly to marry Aaliyah when she was underage.”

Denny Chin, went ahead to claim there was “extensive evidence showing how Kelly ensnared young girls and women into his orbit, endeavored to control their lives and secured their compliance with his personal and sexual demands through verbal and physical abuse, threats of blackmail and humiliation.”

R. Kelly’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean claims they might take their appeal to the U.S supreme court. She believes that the RICO act is being stretched outside of it’s intended use. The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act is a United States federal law that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization. Bonjean argues that the statute wasn't intended to punish organized crimes and not individual conduct.

Former talk show host Wendy Williams has taken decisive legal action to end her court-appointed guardianship, signing an affidavit Wednesday that requests the removal of her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. The 60-year-old media personality maintains she has "regained capacity" to manage her own affairs, directly challenging her recent frontotemporal dementia (FTD) diagnosis.

In a revealing appearance on "TMZ Presents: Saving Wendy," Williams disclosed concerning details about her current living conditions, stating she has only been permitted outdoors twice within a 30-day period. "I was in Connecticut for a year and I didn't go see anybody. I've been in here for six or seven months and I haven't seen anybody," Williams told Harvey Levin during the documentary.

The situation has drawn attention from medical experts, including New York-based neurologist Leah Croll, who highlighted the complexities of Williams' case. "This is actually an extremely challenging diagnosis to make," Croll explained, noting the overlap between alcohol-induced brain damage and frontotemporal dementia symptoms, particularly in their effects on the prefrontal lobes.

Williams' guardian recently filed court documents requesting a new medical evaluation after the former host publicly rejected her diagnosis. "I don't have frontotemporal dementia...it's disgusting," Williams declared during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. "That's a very rare thing for anybody to have."

The legal landscape continues to evolve, with sources indicating Williams will undergo a medical re-evaluation on February 18, 2025. This development follows her strategic decision to dismiss her court-appointed attorney, Linda Redlisky, on January 29. Her new legal team reportedly plans to file an "Emergency Order to Show Cause" immediately after the evaluation.

Morrissey's recent court filing presents a stark contrast to Williams' assertions, stating that the condition will "only get worse and there is no cure." The guardian has also been involved in legal action against A&E Television Networks, claiming their documentary "shamelessly exploits [Williams] and portrays her in an extremely demeaning and undignified manner."

If the court denies Williams' request to end the guardianship, sources close to the situation indicate she will pursue a jury trial, allowing members of the public to determine whether the arrangement should continue. This development marks a significant escalation in Williams' efforts to regain control of her affairs, setting the stage for what could become a landmark case in guardianship law.

The outcome of Williams' upcoming medical evaluation may prove crucial in determining her future autonomy, as the court weighs the complex balance between personal freedom and necessary protection.
