Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, made headlines on Saturday for her appearance at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala, not just for her charitable spirit but for her wardrobe choice. Meghan arrived at the event in a red Carolina Herrera gown she had previously worn at a gala in 2021. This time, the duchess reworked the dress, signaling her growing embrace of sustainability in fashion.

Rewearing outfits on red carpets is becoming a more conscious choice among celebrities advocating for sustainable fashion practices. Stars like Cate Blanchett, Billie Eilish, and Gwyneth Paltrow have increasingly chosen to rewear their previous outfits to highlight the growing conversation around eco-friendly fashion. Meghan’s decision to repeat her stunning Carolina Herrera dress was no different, aligning her with this movement.

Originally, Meghan wore the dress during a New York gala celebrating military veterans in 2021. It was a voluminous gown with a dramatic train, accessorized with her Birks Snowflake Snowstorm Diamond Earrings and pointed satin pumps. This weekend, however, she opted for a more
minimalist approach, transforming the gown into a sleek, tailored look. She ditched the heavy jewelry and kept it simple, finishing off the look with a pair of open-toed slingback heels by Giuseppe Zanotti.

The duchess’ new, laid-back fashion choices appear to reflect her lifestyle post-royalty. Since stepping down from royal duties with her husband, Prince Harry, Meghan has adopted a more casual and personal style, distancing herself from the strict protocols of royal fashion.

At the event, Meghan not only turned heads with her outfit but also spoke passionately about the importance of the hospital’s work. “The staff is incredible, and the amount of work they do for families that really could not afford this level of care is something that should never be overlooked,” she said.

While Meghan's fashion choices continue to be scrutinized, her focus on important causes such as the work done at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles ensures that she continues to use her influence for good.

In a rather unexpected candid  revelation on her new reality series "Tia Mowry: My Next Act," actress Tia Mowry shared intimate details about her relationship history with ex-husband Cory Hardrict. The 46-year-old "Sister, Sister" alum disclosed that Hardrict was her "first everything," having lost her virginity to him at age 25.

During a conversation with friend and actress Essence Atkins, Mowry explained her limited dating experience, stating, "I wasn't even allowed to date until I was 18 years old. I met Cory when I turned 20." This disclosure comes as Mowry navigates her post-divorce life, following the couple's separation in October 2022 after 14 years of marriage.

The revelation has sparked discussions about celebrity relationships and personal choices. Family therapist Dr. Sarah Mitchell notes, "It's increasingly rare to see celebrities openly discussing their choices regarding intimacy, especially in today's fast-paced dating culture."

Mowry's journey from a strictly regulated adolescence to marriage and now divorce reflects a significant life transition. In a 2022 appearance on the "Today" show, she emphasized the importance of self-discovery: "I knew when I really started to focus on my happiness. Women, we tend to focus on everybody else's happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK."

The couple's divorce was finalized in April 2023, with both parties agreeing to joint custody of their children, Cree (13) and Cairo (6). Hardrict recently shared his own perspective, revealing emotional struggles post-separation.

Industry analyst Jennifer Torres observes, "Mowry's openness about her experiences resonates with many who navigate similar life changes in the public eye. Her willingness to discuss personal growth while maintaining dignity sets a notable example."

The eight-episode series, executive produced by Mowry herself alongside Adam Griffin and Erin Richard, airs on We TV, with new episodes available on AMC's streaming service ALLBLK.

Lisa Marie Presley desired a dignified bereavement procedure.

The daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley explained in her posthumous memoir From Here To The Great Unknown—which her daughter Riley Keough finished—why she kept her son Benjamin Keough on dry ice for two months following his death in 2020 and how she drew inspiration from her father's passing.

People report that Lisa Marie justified her decision to keep Benjamin's body in a casita close to her house by writing in the book, There is no law in the state of California that you have to bury someone immediately. Being able to visit and spend time with my dad after his death was really helpful, the person said.

Riley continued by saying that her mother, who had shared the actress and Benjamin with her ex-husband Danny Keough, needed enough time to say goodbye to him, the same way she'd done with her dad.

Following his death in 1977 at the age of nine, Elvis Presley was laid to rest on the grounds of his Memphis estate, Graceland, where Lisa Marie had spent time as a child. Lisa Marie, who lived in California until her death in 2023, had another reason for preserving her son's body before burying him, besides imitating her father's grieving process: the ongoing debate over whether to bury him in Memphis or Hawaii.

“That was part of why it took so long, Lisa Marie—who was also mom to 15- year-old twin daughters Harper and Finley Lockwood with ex Michael
Lockwood—admitted elsewhere in her memoir. I became accustomed to taking care of him and having him there. It would probably terrify the living f-king. piss out of anybody else to have their son there like that. But not me.”

She emphasized, “I felt so fortunate that there was a way that I could still parent him; delay it a bit longer so that I could become okay with laying him to rest.”

But in the end, Riley described the experience of having Benjamin live on their property for so long as absurd, so Lisa Marie had to let go of her son.

Riley stated in the memoir, which was published on October 8, that we all got this vibe from my brother that he didn't want his body in this house anymore. Guys, this is getting weird, he seemed to be saying. My mother also reported feeling his presence and hearing his words, Mom, this is crazy. What are you doing? How dare I?

However, despite Lisa Marie's eventual success in having Benjamin buried close to his grandfather on Graceland's grounds—where she was also buried—Riley has previously disclosed that her mother was never truly able to process her loss.

“My mom tried her best to find strength for me and my younger sisters after Ben died, but we knew how much pain she was in,” Riley told People last month. “My mom physically died from the aftereffects of her surgery, but we all knew she died of a broken heart.”

The Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik Menendez, now 56 and 53 respectively were sentenced to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole. The convictions of Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were jailed more than three decades ago for the murder of their parents in the US, are set to be reviewed. The brothers shot Jose and Kitty Menendez at their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989, in what prosecutors said was a plot to inherit their  ather’s fortune.

Kim Kardashian has written a personal essay demanding for the release of the brothers. In the essay, published by NBC News on Oct. 3 rd , she writes, “The trial and punishment these brothers received were more befitting a serial killer than two individuals who endured years of sexual abuse by the very people they loved and trusted.” According to the Los Angeles district attorney, prosecutors are now reviewing the case in light of new evidence that surfaced. The evidence is a letter written by Erik that his attorneys say corroborates the allegations that he was sexually abused by his father.

“We are all products of our experiences. They shape who we were, who we are, and who we will be,” the reality TV star wrote. “Physiologically and psychologically, time changes us, and I doubt anyone would claim to be the same person they were at 18. I know I’m not!” The brothers shot Jose five times, including once at point-blank range with a shotgun aimed at the back of his head. As Kitty attempted to crawl away, Lyle reloaded and shot her in the face with a shotgun. A total of 14 shots were fired.

Kim Kardashian argued that if the case happened today, the outcome would be different, considering the circumstances under which they killed their parents. Kim wrote that the two are not monster, instead, they are kind, intelligent and honest men. She claims that in prison, they both have exemplary disciplinary records, earned multiple degrees, been mentors to other inmates and were caregivers for older inmates. Kim stated that one of the prisoner guards claimed that he would feel safe with having the pair as his neighbors. Twenty four family members, including siblings of their late parents came to their defense and testified in their favor.

In a deeply personal series of recent interviews, Grammy-nominated rapper A$AP Rocky revealed how becoming a father to sons RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 14 months, has transformed his perspective on life, family, and creativity. The 35-year-old artist, born Rakim Mayers in Harlem, spoke candidly about navigating parenthood alongside his partner Rihanna, 36, while remaining dedicated to his musical evolution.

"That shit changed my swag," Rocky admitted in his October 2024 W Magazine cover story, shot intimately by Rihanna herself. "I'm such a dad now - it's hilarious. The sacrifices we make to put out something substantial..." The rapper described adapting to a new routine, often missing his children's waking hours due to late studio sessions for his upcoming album "Don't Be Dumb."

Rocky and Rihanna's relationship, which began officially around 2019 after a seven-year friendship, has grown into a true partnership. "I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think," Rocky reflected on their connection, which was partly strengthened by their shared Caribbean heritage. Rocky's late father, Adrian Mayers, hailed from Barbados like Rihanna - a connection that resonated deeply with the rapper. "All those years that I missed in Barbados, I just started making up for it, getting more in tune with that side of my culture."

The couple has developed a natural division of parentalresponsibilities. "We both have our niches, our things that we do that we're good at," Rocky explained. "She could never be a great dad, because she's a great mom. And I could never be a great mom, because I'm the greatest dad in the whole wide world."

As for their sons' personalities, Rocky observed distinct traits emerging: "I think RZA is going to keep to himself. He's an introvert," while "Riot's an extrovert - he's just like his mom." Despite their differences, the siblings are already forming a bond, with "Riot looking up to RZA" as Rocky proudly noted.

Lessons from his own upbringing inform Rocky's parenting philosophy. His father taught him the importance of trusting oneself and breaking rules thoughtfully. Now, Rocky aims to pass on "a little bit of humility - and cockiness when it's time. Freedom is key, so I really want to support my boys and hope to be receptive to whoever and whatever they want to be in life."

This new chapter coincides with Rocky's continued evolution as an artist. His forthcoming album "Don't Be Dumb" promises to blend diverse influences, from indie and classical to vintage Memphis hip-hop. While not explicitly focused on fatherhood, the album naturally incorporates themes of "adapting to changes and having a work-family balance," as Rocky described.

Rocky emphasized the paramount importance of family support, particularly from his partner. "If I didn't have the support of our parents, I don't know what we would be doing," he reflected, highlighting the crucial role of their extended family network as they navigate parenthood in the spotlight.

DDG and Halle Bailey have revealed their decision to part ways after almost three years of being together. DDG posted on Instagram, saying, “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”

The couple’s relationship has been in the public eye since they went public in January 2022. They have shared many memorable moments, from attending high-profile events to giving fans glimpses of their life as new parents. Despite the breakup, DDG emphasized that their bond remains strong. “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he added.

Halle Bailey has also been open about her experiences as a new mother. Earlier this year, she shared on Snapchat about the challenges of postpartum depression, saying, “It’s hard for me to be separated from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out. When I look at him, I cry because of how special he is.”

The announcement of their split follows months of speculation and rumors. In April, fans noticed that DDG and Halle had unfollowed each other on Instagram and removed some of their photos together, fueling breakup rumors. Halle’s discussion about her postpartum struggles further intensified these speculations.

Despite ending their romantic relationship, both DDG and Halle are committed to co-parenting their son. “As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support.”

Halle and DDG’s relationship has been a significant part of their personal and professional lives. Halle once described their relationship as transformative, saying, “The best thing about young love is that you’re able to continue to find yourself through this journey of loving somebody else.”
