The Kansas City Chiefs cancelled all team activities on Thursday after defensive lineman BJ Thompson suffered a cardiac arrest during a team meeting. The 25-year-old experienced a seizure during a special teams meeting before going into cardiac arrest. He was promptly treated by the team's medical staff and transported to the hospital, where he is now in stable condition.

Caitlin Clark is unfazed about not making the 2024 Paris Olympics women’s basketball team. “I’m excited for the girls that are on the team,” she told Indy Star sports reporter Chloe Peterson on June 9.I know it's the most competitive team in the world and I know it could've gone either way. Clark added, “I’m going to be rooting them on to win gold. I was a kid that grew up watching the Olympics, so it’ll be fun to watch them.”
