Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Alaric Jackson was arrested at his Los Angeles home on a felony domestic violence allegation, according to reports that emerged on June 9.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to ESPN that the 27-year-old NFL player was taken into custody on June 8. Authorities told the outlet that Jackson faces a charge involving the alleged willful infliction of corporal injury on a spouse.

NBC4 first reported the arrest, stating that officers responded to a call at Jackson's residence at around 11 p.m. on Monday night. According to the report, police arrived to find that Jackson and a woman had been involved in what investigators described as an apparent argument.

Sources familiar with the investigation told NBC4 that the dispute allegedly escalated when Jackson believed the woman was recording him on her phone. Investigators claim he attempted to take the device from her. The woman was reportedly found with visible scratches on her arm following the incident.

Jail records cited by ESPN show Jackson was booked on a felony domestic battery allegation at approximately 4:24 a.m. on June 9. He was later released after posting a $50,000 bond about three hours later.

In a statement provided to PEOPLE, a spokesperson for the Rams acknowledged the situation and said the organization is aware of the incident involving Jackson. The team added that it takes such matters seriously but declined to comment further because the legal process is ongoing.

Jackson's agent did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The arrest marks the latest legal issue involving the offensive lineman. According to ESPN, Jackson was previously named in a 2025 lawsuit filed by a woman who alleged that he recorded her during a sexual encounter without her consent and later refused repeated requests to delete the footage. The case was ultimately dismissed in April.

Jackson has been a key member of the Rams' offensive line since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2021. His strong performances earned him a significant contract extension with the franchise in 2025. The three-year deal was reportedly worth $57 million and solidified his role as one of the team's starting offensive tackles.

As the investigation continues, no further details have been released by law enforcement. The allegations against Jackson remain unproven, and any legal proceedings will determine the outcome of the case.
