Authorities in California have identified the decomposed body found in an abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been reported missing from Lake Elsinore. The grim discovery was made on September 8 when officers were called to a Hollywood tow yard over a foul odor emanating from the vehicle. Inside the front trunk of the car, police found Rivas' remains, later confirmed through forensic testing.

Taylor Townsend has issued an apology after receiving backlash for comments she made about Chinese food in a series of social media posts. On Wednesday, Sept. 17, the 29-year-old tennis star addressed the controversy in an Instagram Story, saying there was "no excuse" for her words. Her apology came after she shared videos expressing surprise and discomfort at certain dishes she encountered at a buffet in Shenzhen, China, which included bullfrogs, soft-shelled turtles, and sea cucumbers.
