Wendy Williams has broken her silence following the leak of her medical records, telling Page Six that her attorneys are furious over the violation of her privacy and that she remains determined to end her court-ordered guardianship.
The former daytime talk show host has been at the center of public concern since reports surfaced about her health struggles, with leaked documents claiming she was recently re- diagnosed with dementia. Williams has not directly addressed the specifics of those reports, but she made it clear that she believes her personal health information should never have been made public.
“My attorneys are very upset and they’re fighting for me,” Williams said in a statement. “Thiswas a major breach of my privacy, and I won’t let it stop me from moving forward with my life.”
Williams has been under a guardianship since 2022, a decision that was made after questions arose regarding her ability to manage her health and finances. While her court-appointed guardian has continued to oversee her personal and financial affairs, Williams and her legal team have argued that the arrangement is unnecessary and restrictive.
Speaking to Page Six, Williams stressed that she feels strong enough to reclaim control over her life. “I will get out of this guardianship,” she said firmly. “I know who I am, I know what I can do, and I will prove it.”
Her attorneys echoed that sentiment, with sources close to her legal team saying they are preparing to challenge the guardianship in court once again. They believe the recent leak of confidential medical files may help build their case by highlighting flaws in how her private information has been handled under the current system.
For fans who have followed Williams’ career and personal battles, her comments signal a renewed determination. Once known for her sharp commentary and fearless style on The Wendy Williams Show, she has spent the last few years away from the spotlight while dealing with health issues and ongoing legal complications.
Despite these challenges, Williams insisted that she is not giving up. “I want my fans to know I hear them, I feel their support, and I’m still fighting,” she said. “This is not the end of Wendy Williams.”
