Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods-Towns brought a little Westeros to New York City, trading their usual courtside glamour for chilling Game of ThronesHalloween costumes during their first spooky season as a married couple.
The New York Knicks star dressed as the Night King, while his wife transformed into a White Walker for a dramatic Halloween outing on Saturday night. The newlyweds were spotted dining outdoors at what appeared to be Sartiano’s in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, with cameras capturing their elaborate looks.
Towns and Woods did not settle for ordinary Halloween outfits. Their icy costumes evoked the supernatural villains from HBO’s hit fantasy series, complete with the eerie aesthetic associated with the White Walkers and their fearsome leader.
The appearance offered another glimpse into the couple’s life together following their star-studded wedding in California earlier this year. And with Towns balancing the demands of another NBA season, the Halloween outing gave the Knicks center a chance to enjoy some time away from the basketball spotlight.
Towns and Woods married in August at a lavish ceremony in Malibu, California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The celebration brought together family, friends and a long list of celebrities and NBA personalities.
Among the guests were Towns’ Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Miles McBride and OG Anunoby, along with their partners. Actor Ben Stiller, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber were also among the notable names in attendance.
The wedding even included a playful tribute to New York basketball. Guests received custom hoodies reading “Married in 5,” a nod to the Knicks’ championship hopes and their long wait for another NBA title.
For Towns and Woods, the Halloween costumes provided another opportunity to make a statement together. The pair’s Game of Thrones transformation was a dramatic departure from the polished fashion looks Woods often showcases and the basketball gear Towns wears on game nights.
