Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson has taken legal action against her ex- boyfriend, Deondre Burgin, alleging a pattern of domestic abuse that culminated in a violent incident on Mother's Day 2025. Jackson, 23, filed for a restraining order in Los Angeles County Superior Court to protect herself and her infant son, Kasai.
According to court documents, Jackson claims that on Mother's Day, while holding their three-month-old son, Burgin assaulted her by grabbing her hair, slamming her head against a car window, and punching her in the face. She alleges this was part of a six- month pattern of abuse, including choking, threats with a knife, and psychological torment.
One particularly disturbing claim is that Burgin urged her to drink bleach during her pregnancy. Jackson has reportedly provided video evidence supporting some of these allegations. She claims he would slam he head on the wall and choke her until she cannot breath. She has also come forward to allege that Burgin owns three firearms and she is scared for her life.
Burgin, known online as Yerkky Yerkky, is a digital content creator. He has a history of legal issues, including arrests for a juvenile parole violation in November 2024 and an outstanding warrant in April 2025, which led to a week-long incarceration. Notably,Burgin missed the birth of his son due to his incarceration in January 2025.
Jackson's decision to seek a restraining order follows a previous legal incident in August 2024, where she was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after an altercation with Burgin. However, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office declined to file charges against her. 9th.
