Controversial rapper Kanye West abruptly terminated his interview with broadcaster Piers Morgan after just two minutes of questioning on Tuesday. The brief encounter, filmed for Morgan's YouTube show "Uncensored," ended with West—who now goes by "Ye"—removing his microphone and storming off set.

"This is what you get for now. We can circle back when you can count," declared Ye before exiting, leaving Morgan visibly bewildered on the Spanish balcony where the interview was being conducted.

Morgan promptly took to social media platform X, sharing an image of the agitated rapper with the caption: "So, I interviewed Kanye West again today. As I expected, given what I've said about him recently, it didn't last long or go well. This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby."

The interview's downward spiral began immediately when West corrected Morgan for using his former surname. "I don't use the term West, you know, the whole drop the slave name idea?" the rapper insisted, requesting to be addressed as "Ye."

Tensions escalated when Morgan attempted to contrast West's seemingly relaxed demeanor against his controversial public image. "You're not going to take inches off my dick, bro," West retorted when Morgan referenced his social media following, disputing the broadcaster's figure of 32 million followers.

The rapper, accompanied by social media personality Sneako, proceeded to compare himself to John Lennon and Michael Jackson before accusing Morgan of showing "hate" toward artists "that put out love." When Morgan expressed confusion, West swiftly ended the conversation.

"You are not taking accountability or responsibility," West concluded before removing his microphone.

Following West's departure, Sneako remained to field questions from Morgan, defending the rapper by suggesting that Morgan had "intentionally" tried to provoke West. "You know what you are doing? I think you were trying to patronize very intentionally by getting those two things under his skin," Sneako stated.

Morgan disclosed that West's team had kept the production crew waiting for nearly 22 hours before eventually appearing for the interview.

This incident follows a turbulent period for West, who recently shocked fans with a two-minute video rant that appeared to reference his sexuality, though he later retracted these comments. The Grammy winner has also faced significant backlash for antisemitic remarks and controversial social media posts praising Adolf Hitler.

West's erratic behavior has reportedly prompted his ex-wife Kim Kardashian to implement additional security measures, according to sources close to the reality star. The former couple, who share four children, finalized their divorce in 2022 with an agreement for joint custody.
