Kanye West is talking about a horrible event that happened to him as a child.
As a child, the "Stronger" rapper claimed to have had a sexual encounter with one of his relatives, which he claimed served as the inspiration for his next song, "Cousins."
In an April 21 post on X (previously Twitter), Kanye hinted at the upcoming song, saying, "This song is called COUSINS... about my cousin that's locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn't 'look at dirty magazines together' anymore."
The Grammy winner continued by saying that he felt accountable for participating in the action with his unnamed cousin.
Maybe in my self-centered misery, I thought I was to blame for showing him those dirty magazines when he was 6," Kanye continued, "and then we acted out what we saw."
The 47-year-old added, "My dad had Playboy magazines, but the magazines I found in the top of my mom's closet were different," in reference to the purported location of the X-rated periodicals.
Kanye coKanyeed, "My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins d--k till I was 14."
The founder of Yeezy, who has children with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian—North, 11; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 5—has previously disclosed details about his history.
Kanye apologized to his old friend Jay-Z earlier this month for posting a since-deleted social media statement in which he questioned the mental capacity of the 7-year-old twins, Sir Carter and Rumi Carter, of the "Empire State of Mind" rapper and wife Beyoncé.
"I apologize, Jay Z." Kanye wrote on X on April 10. “I be feeling bad about my tweet, but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family, but when I needed family on some real s--t, none of these rap n----s had my back.”
