Rumors about a potential romance between NFL star Sauce Gardner and rapper Ice Spice have intensified after a recent Instagram post by Gardner. The photos, shared on his account, show him and Ice Spice standing side by side near a luxury car on a street in New York City. Gardner, a two-time Pro Bowler for the New York Jets, captioned the post with a Statue of Liberty emoji, which many interpreted as a subtle nod to their shared connection to New York.
Gardner’s Instagram Story featured a continuation of the visual display, with him adding a caption that simply read, “NY,” alongside an emoji of a bandaged red heart. Ice Spice herself joined the conversation in the comments section, adding a cryptic “1,” further fueling speculation about the nature of their relationship. While Gardner’s photos and captions seemed to point to something more than a casual friendship, Ice Spice remained elusive, offering minimal direct commentary on the dating rumors.
This isn’t the first time the two have been seen together in public. Earlier this year, they were spotted in a viral video in which they appeared together on an escalator. Their public appearances continued with an appearance at Druski’s “Coulda Been Love” YouTube series premiere party in February. Additionally, the pair were seen attending the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March, solidifying their growing association.
Ice Spice, 25, has not publicly confirmed or denied the rumors surrounding her and Gardner. However, her interactions with the Jets cornerback are closely watched by fans. In a playful exchange, Ice Spice even responded cryptically when directly asked if they were dating, writing, “GAG.” Her ambiguous responses only served to fuel further speculation.
Previously, Ice Spice was linked to British rapper Central Cee, though she clarified their relationship as strictly platonic. In an interview with _Rolling Stone_ last year, she explained, “We’re just twins,” referring to their long-standing friendship. Despite keeping her love life largely private, Ice Spice did confirm in 2023 that she was dating someone, though she chose not to disclose the identity of her partner.
