Tiger Woods, the 49-year-old golf legend, has officially confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Trump, the 47-year-old ex-wife of Donald Trump
Jr. The announcement came on March 23, 2025, when Woods shared two intimate photos on Instagram with the caption: "Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together."

PEOPLE magazine first reported on March 13 that the couple had been "quietly dating for several months," though rumors had been circulating
in gossip outlets for weeks. The relationship began to draw public attention when they were spotted together at various golf events, including February's Genesis Invitational in San Diego.

According to a source close to the couple, they connected through their children's shared passion for golf. "Their kids are going places in golf
and both very disciplined about the sport. They have that in common," the insider told PEOPLE. Woods' son Charlie, 16, and Vanessa's daughter Kai, 17, have competed in the same junior golf tournaments.

Vanessa was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years before filing for divorce in 2018. They share five children together, including
daughter Kai and son Donald III, 16. A source told PEOPLE that he ex-husband is "cool with" her new relationship with Woods.

For Woods, this relationship marks his first public romance since his split with Erica Herman in October 2022 after seven years together. Prior to that, Woods was married to Elin Nordegren until their divorce in 2010 following his public infidelity scandal. The former couple shares two children: son Charlie and daughter Sam, 17.

Despite Woods' typically private nature regarding his personal life, this public announcement mirrors his 2013 approach with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, when both posted photos confirming their relationship. At that time, Woods explained they wanted to "limit the 'stalkarazzi' and all those sleazy websites," noting it could lead to dangerous situations involving his children.

The timing of the announcement is noteworthy as Woods recently revealed on March 11 that he had ruptured his left Achilles tendon, sidelining
him from the Masters and likely for the remainder of the year. Just weeks earlier, Woods was honored at the White House by President Donald Trump during a Black History Month reception.

A source close to Vanessa explained her attraction to high-profile individuals: "Vanessa has always gone for guys who are either well known
or have something big going for them. She is comfortable with that, but she's not a woman who wants to be in the limelight."

As the couple steps into the public eye, they've requested privacy, concluding their announcement with: "At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts."
