The video shows Princess Lilibet dressed in a pink top and floral-printed leggings, engaged in a personalized game of Candy Land with Williams. "When the aunties comes to celebrate … and to play! Love you @serenawilliams," Meghan wrote over the clip, which was set to Bill Withers' uplifting classic "Lovely Day."
This intimate glimpse comes just days before the premiere of Meghan's Netflix series "With Love, Meghan," scheduled to launch on March 4. "3 days until the party begins. All are invited @netflix," she noted in a subsequent post, strategically building anticipation for her upcoming project.
The pair's friendship has endured since their first meeting at the Super Bowl in 2010. Williams, who attended Meghan and Prince Harry's royal wedding in 2018, has maintained a close relationship with the couple throughout their transition from royal duties to private life in California.
A personalized "Archie & Lili Candy Land" game box was visible in the background, specially created for Lilibet and her five-year-old brother, Prince Archie. This rare appearance of Princess Lilibet follows her debut on Meghan's newly launched lifestyle brand website, As Ever, in February. That image showed mother and daughter walking hand-in-hand across a grassy field with the Pacific Ocean in the background and Prince Harry following behind them.
The timing of these personal posts coincides with significant professional developments for the Duchess. Her lifestyle brand recently underwent a name change from "American Riviera Orchard" to "As Ever," with industry watchers speculating that the brand launch will align with her Netflix series premiere.
During their last public appearance together in December 2024, Meghan and Williams attended the Paley Honors Fall Gala to support their mutual friend Tyler Perry. Their enduring friendship has remained constant through Meghan's transition from actress to royal to entrepreneur.
