Kanye West, currently known as Ye has been involved in countless controversies over the past week, causing him to be dropped by his talent agent and other brands. Music agent, Daniel McCartney revealed that he will no longer be representing the rapper following his controversial rant on X. During his rant, the rapper called for the release of Sean Diddy Combs, who is currently facing assault and racketeering charges. Kanye west also referred to himself as a Nazi and call praised Adolf Hitler.
“Effective immediately, I am no longer representing Ye due to his recent harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for. Peace and love to all,” McCartney wrote. Ye’s X account was deactivated on Monday and his Yeezy.com site was shut down after he began selling swastika embossed t-shirts.
Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has also officially terminated his collaboration with YEEZY, after operating as the Ye-founded streetwear brand’s head of design for almost two years. “Our partnership with Yeezy has reached its conclusion. The December drop was last for me. I’m deeply grateful to Ye and the entire Yeezy team for a memorable experience – one that will always stay with me,” the designer wrote.
He concluded, “As I move forward, I continue to develop my creative vision, exploring new projects and evolving past ideas in ways that feel true to me. In due time, I will share more about what’s next for upcoming GOSHA RUBCHINSKIY brand relaunch.”
Also, cryptocurrency page, moonpay blocked the rapper on X and shared a screenshot, captioning it, “the only way to make it stop.” Fans also noticed that Travis Scott is no longer following Ye on Instagram and X, despite previously following him on the platforms.
Kanye West also insinuated that streaming platforms like Spotify might take him off streaming platforms. “If I get taken off of streaming services it’s only going to make me richer. Any and every control tactic you have at this point only makes me richer,” the rapper wrote.
