Shemar Moore is taking the initiative. Several outlets have reported that the S.W.A.T. singer and his girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, had split up after five years of together. Before Shemar, 54, and Jesiree, 41, reconnected in 2020, the couple had first connected in 2008. The model's son Kaiden, 18, and daughter Charlie, 6, from prior relationships were joined by their 2-year-old daughter Frankie three years later.
Shemar stated he had no desire to have any more children, claiming that his household was already full, just days before the breakup became public. Shemar stated, This is real life, I'm going to keep it 100, when she appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on January 24. My age is 54. Our house—my house—is full.
In fact, the former cast member of Young and the Restless admitted that he decided against growing his family because of his advanced age. As an only child, I was raised, he said to host Jennifer Hudson. At the age of 54, I honestly don't want to worry twice because I have all the love from my mother. If I live to be 90 years old, which would be a joyful and complete life for me, [Frankie] would be 37 years old. Therefore, I had a full life, although she may have passed away too soon.
The actor previously denied getting married to Jesiree and having more children, telling People in November that he didn't have a good role model of marriage in my life.I once asked my mother, If people get married, then what's this prenuptial
thing? he explained. Oh, you are loved. Even though you are the most incredible person on the planet, please sign this. So you don't believe the individual? Shemar insisted at the time that he was in it for the long run, even if he was reluctant to make their relationship formal.
He said,ll give you everything I have today and tomorrow, Jesiree, even though tomorrow isn't guaranteed. She is my partner. She is Frankie's mother. I'm going to try to be a dope-ass parent because Frankie has a dope-ass mom. And until God calls my name, we will continue doing it.
