Adult entertainer, Lana Rhoades, has been forced to issue an apology following criticism from fans. During a recent episode of her podcast, 3 girls 1 kitchen, Lana Rhoades and her co-hosts Olivia Davis and Alexa Adams remarks led to online uproar. During the segment, Olivia revealed that her ex-boyfriend Torrey Craig is currently dating the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper. In the video Davis seemed to mispronounced Megan’s name, which fans alleged that she was mispronouncing the name intentionally. Lana came to her defense by claiming Davis is bilingual, therefore, she might get her vowels mixed up.
Lana Rhoades then went ahead to claim that she doesn’t know Craig’s type since he has only dated girls like Davis and also talked to “women like her.” Fans assumed that Rhoades was being racist towards Megan Thee Stallion by alleging that Craig has only dated white women, therefore, finding it hard to believe he is currently dating Megan Thee Stallion.
Following the backlash, Rhoades uploaded a follow-up apology video. “Why would I say that if I meant ‘white women’ as a whole? I meant a very specific look,” she said in a YouTube clip titled, Meg the stallion x 3 Girls 2 Kitchen Drama explained (sic). “If you looked at all these women that my friend was showing me he was talking to at the time, you would think that they were all the same person,” she continued. “It wasn’t a difference in skin colour, it was literally carbon copies of each other.” Despite her efforts to clear her name, many people were not buying her explanation.
In the video, Rhoades also defended Davis, explaining that her co-host’s inability to properly pronounce Megan’s name stemmed from her bilingual upbringing in a Ukrainian household, not from an attempt to throw shade at the rapper.
Rhoades went on to justify her initial concerns about Craig’s intentions with Megan, citing his previous behavior and the potential for financial or status-related benefits from dating the superstar. “I was just putting that out there so that she knew it,” Rhoades said, though she admitted her comments may have come across as judgmental.
Fans also shared videos of Davis listening to Megan Thee Stallion’s music, questioning her previous claims that she does not know the rapper. Fans also questioned how they knew Tory Lanez yet they claim they did not know Megan. During a segment of the podcast, the trio seemingly laughed while clarifying that Megan is currently dating Torrey Craig and not Tory Lanez. Tory Lanez is currently convicted for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, therefore, fans considered their reaction “shady.”
