Zendaya sent the internet into a frenzy after appearing on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet with a stunning diamond ring on her left hand. The sighting has led fans to speculate whether the Challengers star is engaged to long-time boyfriend Tom Holland.
The actress, who was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, wowed in a custom burnt orange satin gown by Louis Vuitton, paired with matching pointed-toe pumps. Her dramatic look was styled by her trusted image architect, Law Roach. Complementing her outfit were exquisite Bulgari pieces, including a platinum choker necklace featuring an oval paraiba tourmaline surrounded by over 48 carats of diamonds, a paraiba tourmaline ring, and diamond stud earrings.
However, it was a non-Bulgari piece that stole the spotlight — a large cushion-cut diamond ring set east-west on a delicate gold band. Fans flooded social media with speculation. "Is that an engagement ring?!?" one user commented on Instagram. Another simply noted, "The ring ."
Representatives for Zendaya and Holland have not commented on the rumors. The couple, both 28, has been romantically linked since 2021 after meeting on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017. While their relationship has been widely admired, the pair rarely make joint public appearances.
In a recent Men’s Health interview, Holland explained why they avoid walking red carpets together. "Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us," he said. Holland did not attend the Golden Globes with Zendaya but has previously supported her at events, including the 2021 premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Beyond their personal lives, the couple is reportedly set to co-star in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey, scheduled for a 2026 release. The film is rumored to feature an all-star cast, including Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon. Holland, however, has kept details under wraps. "I don’t know anything about it," he admitted on the Dish podcast. "I met with [Nolan], and he loosely pitched the idea. Everything is very hush-hush."
While neither Zendaya nor Holland has confirmed the engagement rumors, fans remain eager to see whether the sparkling ring signifies a new chapter for the beloved duo.
