Wendy Williams, the former talk show host and media personality, made a rare public appearance on December 19 to attend her son Kevin Hunter Jr.'s graduation from Florida International University in Miami. Wendy, 60, who has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, was seen in good spirits as she celebrated the
milestone event.

Sporting a sparkly black jumpsuit accessorized with a "W" necklace and gold jewelry, Wendy arrived in a mobility scooter alongside her father, Thomas Williams Sr., to support her 24-year-old son. Her presence marked a significant moment, as Wendy has remained largely out of the public eye since her health challenges were disclosed earlier this year.

In February, Wendy revealed her diagnoses, sharing that she has become cognitively impaired and requires ongoing care. Despite her health struggles, she expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans, stating, “Your positivity and encouragement are deeply appreciated.”

The occasion underscores Wendy's close relationship with her son, a bond she previously described as “old-fashioned” during an interview with *Yahoo Parenting*. Wendy, who shares Kevin Jr. with her ex-husband Kevin Hunter, has spoken about how proud she is of her son's respectful and mannerable nature.

Since back from the spotlight after the conclusion of 'The Wendy Williams Show' in 2022, Wendy has rarely been seen in public. However, this special event showcased her enduring strength and love for her family, highlighting her resilience amid her health journey.
