Just when fans thought Cardi B and Offset were on the road to healthy co-parenting, the estranged couple proved otherwise with a fiery exchange on social media. On Dec. 18, Cardi B took to X (formerly Twitter) to demand that Offset finalize their divorce, bringing their ongoing drama back into the spotlight.
Offset, 33, set the stage for the online spat with a now-deleted post calling out Cardi’s priorities. “Stop capping to these ppl to make yourself look like the hoe it ain't the look,” he wrote. “You a fire woman, good music, but you focus on d**k and tryna make me look bad.” His closing advice? “Focus, bra. This s**t is whack from us both, honestly.”
Cardi wasn’t about to let that slide. Responding in her own now-deleted post, the 'WAP' hitmaker fired back, “So dating because I’m single means I’m just worried about d**k?? You sound like a dummy.” She didn’t mince words, demanding, “F**k off and sign the papers TODAY.”
The tension is nothing new for the couple, who first tied the knot in 2017. Cardi initially filed for divorce in 2020 before reconciling two months later. However, she filed again in August, marking another chapter in their tumultuous relationship. The two share three children: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and a 3-month-old baby girl.
The heated exchange came just four days after Cardi claimed they were on good terms. During a Dec. 14 X Spaces audio broadcast, she shared, “We ain’t beefin’. We ain’t really speaking. So I think we’re getting to a point that is really healthy co-parenting.” Cardi even attended Offset’s birthday party in Miami on the same day.
But as this latest round of public arguments shows, peace can be fleeting. While fans might hope for a resolution, it seems the saga of Cardi B and Offset is far from over.
