A spokesperson for Foxx provided crucial details about the event. "Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth," they stated. The actor required stitches and is currently recovering. The spokesperson emphasized that law enforcement is handling the investigation.
 
 Just days prior, he released a Netflix comedy special chronicling his remarkable medical recovery from a stroke he experienced in April 2023. During that health crisis, Foxx suffered a brain bleed while on the set of "Back in Action," an experience he candidly shared with his audience.
