Halle Berry turned heads by revisiting one of her most memorable fashion moments at the 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab event in Saudi Arabia on November 13. Berry wore the same iconic dress that she wore in 2002 when she won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in *Monster’s Ball*—a look that has become emblematic of elegance in awards history.

Berry shared her excitement on Instagram, posting a video of her walking the runway in the stunning gown. “Winning an Academy Award in my @eliesaabworld gown was one of those moments for me!” she wrote. “Thank you Mr. Saab for being a part of the tapestry of my life as we have been inextricably connected for 22 years now!” She also wished Saab continued success and creativity.

The burgundy gown with its mesh top and intricate floral appliqués captured the crowd’s admiration as it did over two decades ago. Berry updated her look with large diamond earrings and a sleek updo reminiscent of her 2002 pixie cut. Fans flooded her post with comments, including actress Kerry Washington, who called the look “ICONIC.”

Berry, now 58, reminisced about the confidence the dress gave her during her Oscar win, describing how its floral top felt “open and free,” while the bottom half was “regal and grand.” She shared that she chose Saab’s design over larger, established names because it “made me feel uniquely myself.” This moment not only honors a cherished memory but underscores Berry’s lasting impact on red carpet fashion.
