Barbs, Nicki Minaj's fan base have been considered the most loyal over the years, however a former barb is now suing Nicki for 5 million dollars. Tameer Peak is seeking compensation for reputational harm, emotional distress and financial loss.

In the lawsuit he filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Peak claims he's been a dedicated fan of the rapper for the last 15 years and even worked passionately to promote her latest album, Pink Friday 2. He however, went on to claim the rapper accused him of being a “paid mole” and a
stalker.

He claims Minaj allegedly invited him to her hotel room and hopped on Instagram live with over 100,000 people and embarrass him in front of other fans. He claims he was publicly ridiculed and accused by the New York rapper of being paid to sabotage her career. This was in 2017 during the Nicki hate train.

Peak also claims Nicki has allegedly targeted him on X on instances where she would interact with her fans. He claims that others informed him that Nicki wanted him to stop saying “dumb shit.” The documents say Nicki also mistreated him during a Super Bowl weekend event in 2020 when her husband, Kenneth Petty, battered him.

In one session with her fans, Nicki allegedly wrote, It's clear they're not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic. Peak took that to mean he was mentally unstable or intellectually deficient. In another, he says Nicki accused him of being "one sandwich short of a picnic and receiving a check from the government, implying he was on welfare.

Minaj responded to the lawsuit in a statement provided to TMZ on Sunday. “Mr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail,” her attorney, Judd Burstein, told the outlet. “He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims. He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.”
