Jonathan Majors was the picture of a supportive boyfriend as he accompanied girlfriend Meagan Good to the premiere of her new Lifetime
movie "Terry McMillan Presents: Forever" on Tuesday, August 20th. The couple, along with actor Taye Diggs, were photographed on the red carpet
at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles for the event.
Good, 43, who stars in the film alongside Diggs, 53, stunned in a chic yet sultry ensemble for the occasion. She wore a black bralette-style top with bedazzled trim paired with a high-waisted pencil mini skirt and ankle-strapped heels. Her long curls cascaded down her back as she added a pop of color with pink eyeshadow.
Majors, 34, opted for a more vibrant look in a multi-colored two-piece suit, which he accessorized with a scarf and teal hat. Diggs also made a
statement in a grey suit with a black and white striped shirt and a unique tan brimmed hat.
This outing comes just over a year after Majors found himself embroiled in legal troubles. In the spring of 2023, the former Marvel star was
charged with one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment in connection to a 2023 altercation with his then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Despite the controversy, Good remained steadfast in her support of Majors, telling PEOPLE this summer that she
considers herself "incredibly rebellious when I believe in something and in someone."
"Those who want to give you the benefit of the doubt will. And those who don't, won't. And there's nothing you can do about it," Good added at
the time.
"Terry McMillan Presents: Forever" follows Diggs' character Johnnie, who "returns home after a tour of military service, where he's unexpectedly
met with divorce papers." Per the official synopsis, "With his life at a crossroads, the last thing he expected was to fall for the local policewoman Carlie (Good), who pulled him over for speeding."
The film marks Good's latest role in Tyler Perry's drama thriller "Divorce in the Black," in which she co-starred with Cory Hardrict. "Terry McMillan Presents: Forever" is set to premiere on Lifetime this Saturday, August 24th at 8 p.m. ET.
