Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson have finalized their divorce. Knowles and Lawson reportedly agreed that irreconcilable differences the end of their marriage.
According to their settlement agreement, Tina Knowles will keep a 2018 Tesla, a 2020 Bentley, a Penguin Random House book deal, a “1 percent interest in Kirby Beauty Management LLC,” furniture, artwork, and creative works generated by her during their marriage.
Richard Lawson was reportedly awarded a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, several bank and retirement accounts, as well as payments owed to Richard Lawson Studios, and the creative works he generated during their union.
Knowles has agreed to pay off any credit cards in her name. Additionally, Knowles is expected to satisfy “all outstanding balances on any and all household expenses.”
Richard Lawson will also cover his credit card debt and debt related to his 2021 Cadillac Escalade. Additionally, he will reportedly receive a one-time payment of $300,000 from his ex-wife.
Neither of the couple will receive spousal support.
The divorce settlement reportedly notes a non-disparagement clause agreed upon by Knowles and Lawson. The clause asserts that neither can speak “negatively about the other or the other’s children and their spouses.” Furthermore, their “grandchildren” are also reportedly included in that notion.
