Vice President JD Vance is joining Donald Trump on his return to the White House.
NBC News has officially predicted that the Republican candidate will defeat Vice
President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota, to win the 2024 U.S. presidential election. He is going to be the 47th president of the US. He and former Vice President Mike Pence were the 45th president and vice president, respectively. But in the 2020 election, Harris and President Joe Biden defeated the pair.
“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president,” Trump said at a campaign party Nov. 6, per NBC News. This was a movement like no one has ever seen before. Frankly, I believe this was the greatest political movement of all time.” Trump's family stood by him as he spoke at Florida's Palm Beach Convention Center. Trump is the father of Donald Trump Jr., 46; Ivanka Trump, 42; and Eric
Trump, 40, with his late ex-wife Ivana Trump; Tiffany Trump, 31, with his second wife Marla Maples; and son Barron Trump, 18, with First Lady Melania Trump. It will now attain a new degree of significance, the 78-year-old added. Because we intend to aid in the healing of our nation.
VP-elect Vance also joined Trump onstage. Trump is the first impeached president to run for reelection and the third president in American history to be impeached by the House of Representatives. Vance said to Trump, Thank you for letting me be a part of this amazing journey. I believe that the most significant political resurgence in American history has just occurred.
Trump's campaign had a string of highs and lows before this victory. Corey Comperatore was killed and several others were injured when Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was later shot and killed by the Secret Service, opened fire during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, back in July. The former Apprentice host was shot in the ear while onstage at the rally.
Trump will be inaugurated on January 20, 2025.
