Jamie Foxx is set to become a father again. The 58-year-old actor and comedian is expecting his first child with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, multiple outlets confirmed on May 12.
This will be Foxx's third child overall, joining daughters Corinne, 32, and Anelise, 17, from previous relationships.
The couple's baby news comes after a relationship marked by ups and downs. Foxx and Huckstepp were first linked in 2022 when she attended the premiere of his Netflix film Day Shift.
They went public in August 2023, but split briefly in January 2025 before reuniting that April. Since then, they've been spotted together at Nobu in Malibu and later enjoying time in Miami.
Neither Foxx nor Huckstepp has spoken publicly about the pregnancy, and details such as the due date or baby's sex have not been disclosed. Sources told TMZ that Huckstepp is already several months along.
For Huckstepp, this will be her first child. For Foxx, it's another chapter in a fatherhood journey he has often described as central to his life.
"Watching them light up when you come into a room. Helping them work out a problem that you've probably gone through," he once said of his daughters in Dad Confessions.
Foxx has also credited his children with helping him through his health struggles. In 2023, he suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke while filming Back in Action.
Reflecting on the ordeal, he told E! News, "You know how you take a picture on your cell phone and you hit that first filter and it brightens up? That's how life looks now. Everything is altered."
He added, "I appreciate these moments more... my two daughters kept me alive, Corinne Marie and Anelise. And I'm just blessed, man, 'cause it was over."
Foxx's daughters have continued to support him publicly. In June 2025, he received the Ultimate Icon Honor at the BET Awards and paid tribute to his "beautiful" daughters in an emotional speech, thanking them for saving his life.
