He is stable and being closely monitored,” the representative said in a statement.
The shooting reportedly occurred near the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, shortly after 7 p.m. local time. Law enforcement responded rapidly to the scene.
According to the Seminole Police Department, the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment. Officials emphasized that the situation was brought under control within minutes.
Police confirmed that two individuals have been detained in connection with the incident. However, authorities have not yet released information regarding a possible motive or the identity of the suspected shooter.
“The site is secure and there is no threat to the public,” officials said, adding that normal operations at the casino resumed shortly after the incident.
Videos circulating online appear to show the aftermath, including heightened police presence and at least one individual being escorted away. Investigators are continuing to review footage and gather witness statements as part of the ongoing inquiry.
A source familiar with the situation indicated that Offset is expected to recover and is not in critical condition. Further medical details have not been disclosed.
The incident has drawn renewed attention due to past violence connected to the rapper’s circle. Offset is a member of the hip-hop group Migos, whose member Takeoff was fatally shot in 2022 following an altercation in Houston.
As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
