Reality television personality Huda Mustafa has officially responded to a wave of serious allegations involving her boyfriend’s former partner. According to reports shared on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the Love Island USA star addressed the public after a judge granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) against her earlier this week.
The legal dispute centers on claims made by Nicole Olivera, the ex-girlfriend of Mustafa’s current partner, Louis Russell. In court documents filed in Los Angeles, Olivera alleged that an incident occurred on February 21, 2026, in which Mustafa traveled to her home and attempted to force entry. Olivera claimed that Mustafa “broke into the building” and threatened to knock on every door until she was found. The filing further alleged that Mustafa engaged in “12 hours of terrifying” behavior, which included threats of self-harm and alarming statements involving both her own daughter and Olivera’s young son, whom she shares with Russell.
Breaking her silence via an Instagram Story, Mustafa denied the narrative presented in the court filings. “I’m aware of what’s being said and it’s not true,” the 24-year-old wrote to her followers. “I’m handling everything the right way by letting legal take care of it.” Mustafa expressed gratitude to those supporting her but did not provide specific details regarding her version of the February encounter.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to TMZ that they received a call from Olivera’s residence on the night of the alleged incident, reporting a suspect making threats. While no immediate arrests were made at the time, the judge took the allegations seriously enough to sign off on the TRO. The order requires Mustafa to maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from Olivera, her son, and their home, and prohibits any contact via social media.
Mustafa, who finished in third place on Season 7 of Love Island USA, has faced a turbulent few months since leaving the villa, including the loss of a major partnership with Huda Beauty following a separate social media controversy. She is currently preparing for a formal court hearing on April 3, 2026.
