The dynamic surrounding Memphis rapper GloRilla and her family has taken a tumultuous turn in early 2026. Following a series of viral social media clips and public disputes, GloRilla’s sister, known online as Scarface, has officially spoken out to address the growing rift within their household. The controversy reached a boiling point after footage surfaced showing a physical altercation between the sisters, leading to widespread speculation about the stability of the rapper’s inner circle.
In a candid, hour-long livestream, Scarface addressed her followers to “set the record straight” regarding her relationship with the “Yeah Glo!” artist. She alleged that the fame and rapid success GloRilla has experienced since 2022 have fundamentally changed the family’s communication style. Scarface claimed that she has felt sidelined and “silenced” by GloRilla’s management team, arguing that she has been unfairly painted as a “troublemaker” in the media to protect the rapper’s public image.
“I was there before the Grammys and before the fame,” Scarface told viewers during the emotional broadcast. “It’s not about money; it’s about respect. You can’t treat your blood like they’re just another fan or an employee. We grew up together, and now I feel like I have to go through five people just to talk to my sister.”
The tension reportedly stems from an incident in late January where Scarface was allegedly removed from a tour stop by security. While GloRilla has remained largely silent on the specific details of the fight, Scarface used her platform to highlight the mental toll of being the sibling of a superstar. She denied rumors that she was seeking a “handout,” insisting that her outbursts were a result of “built-up frustration” and a lack of transparency regarding family financial matters.
The feud has divided fans, with some defending GloRilla’s right to establish professional boundaries and others empathizing with Scarface’s claims of being abandoned by a sibling who reached the top. Despite the heated nature of her recent remarks, Scarface concluded her statement by saying she still loves her sister but needs “space and an apology” before the relationship can be mended.
