Simone Johnson is ready to rumble with this romance. Dwayne The Rock Johnson's eldest daughter proved she's fully committed to her romance with fellow wrestler Tatyanna Dumas, sharing a sweet glimpse at their love story on their shared Instagram account. From day one, the two wrote in the caption of an Instagram video shared on December 7, to everything time can't erase.
Simone, 24, and Tatyanna, 26, were seen enjoying time together at the beach, eating supper, traveling, and, of course, sharing a few romantic kisses in the video, which was set to Charli XCX's Everything is Romantic. The video repeated the lyrics from the song, with the duo writing, Fall in love, again and again.
The couple created their combined Instagram account in early November, noting in the bio, Two spirits. One story. Exploring life like it's a major event. Simone, who wrestles under the name Ava Raine, and Tatyanna have used the account to provide fans with an intimate look at their combined wrestling careers as they tour the world.
Simone, whose mother is Dwayne's ex Dany Garcia, and Tatyanna recently accompanied the actor on the red carpet at the premiere of his film The Smashing Machine in September.
And, as a fourth-generation wrestler, the Moana star was pleased that his daughter wanted to join the family business—though he was quick to emphasize that she was going her own way.
Follow in my footsteps sounds cliché, the 53-year-old stated on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2020. She actually wants to create and blaze her own path, which is just so important.
And he's quite impressed with what she's accomplished.
It blows my mind, he said, noting that Simone was working her ass off quietly under the radar before signing with WWE NXT in 2022. She hung in there, and I'm very, very proud of her.
