Authorities in California have identified the decomposed body found in an abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been reported missing from Lake Elsinore. The grim discovery was made on September 8 when officers were called to a Hollywood tow yard over a foul odor emanating from the vehicle. Inside the front trunk of the car, police found Rivas' remains, later confirmed through forensic testing.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office listed her date of death as the day of discovery, with the place of death marked as "vehicle." However, her cause of death has been deferred pending further investigation. At present, police have no classification for the case and no suspects identified. Officials emphasized that singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is fully cooperating with authorities.

The vehicle, registered in Texas, had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills before being towed to the impound lot. It reportedly sat there for days before the discovery. The incident has disrupted the rising artist's tour schedule, with his September 17 show in Seattle canceled, though future dates remain listed, including a September 19 performance in San Francisco.

D4vd, who gained acclaim with his single Romantic Homicide and released his debut album Withered earlier this year, expressed the emotional weight of his creative journey on social media, calling the project a product of "blood, sweat, and tears." Now, however, his career momentum has been overshadowed by the tragedy linked to his vehicle.

The story has cast a shadow over the entertainment world, not only due to the shocking discovery but also because of the unanswered questions surrounding the young girl's death. For her family and community, the focus remains on justice and clarity, while for D4vd, the incident has thrust him into an unwelcome spotlight beyond the music stage. As the investigation continues, both fans and observers wait for answers that may reveal how a missing teenager's path intersected with that of a rising star.
