TikTok star, Terryon Thomas, famously known as Mr. Prada is currently facing the death penalty after allegedly murdering his therapist. The then TikTok star, with over 2 million followers has been indicted on several charges including first degree murder, obstruction of justice, aggravated criminal damage to property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The indictment comes as a result of the brutal killing of a Baton Rouge therapist, Dr. Nick Abraham in September 2024. After evading the police in Baton Rouge, Thomas fled the state and was arrested in Dallas, Texas. Police initially shared photos of a “person of interest” who social media users quickly identified as Mr. Prada, who has over 4.3 million followers on TikTok. The viral TikToker has racked up over 500 million likes on his comedic skits.
Dr. Abraham’s body was discovered in Tangipahoa Parish, wrapped in a tarp and abandoned along a highway. According to authorities, the murder allegedly took place inside Thomas’ apartment off Essen Lane in Baton Rouge. The East Baton Rouge Sherriff’s department, Dr. Abraham was last seen alive entering Thomas’ apartment. According to investigators, upon subsequent search, sharp objects, weapons and a significant amounts of Abraham’s blood was found.
According to police, Thomas was the last known person inside Abraham’s car. The day after the therapist’s murder, Thomas evaded a traffic stop, sped away, and crashed his vehicle, police said. He then fled on foot. The motive behind the killing remains unclear, however, authorities have confirmed that Abraham had faced past accusations of inappropriate behavior during a therapy session. That particular case was dropped years ago, and officials have not linked it to the murder. During months leading up to the murder, fans saw a “shift” in Thomas’ behavior claiming he seems “lonely” and “withdrawn.” He also made drastic physical changes by shaving his hair and eyebrows.
