Simone Biles brought her game-day fashion to new heights while cheering on her husband, Jonathan Owens, during the Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks game on Thursday, Dec. 26. The 27-year-old gymnastics icon turned heads at Soldier Field, sporting a custom two-piece pants set adorned with multiple photos of Owens in his Bears uniform, complete with his number 36 prominently displayed.
In a video shared by the NFL on Instagram, Biles was all smiles as she made her way onto the field, showcasing her vibrant outfit. She later shared the video on her Instagram Stories, along with a snapshot of herself posing with Owens during a brief game break. Paired with her ensemble was a white quilted Chanel purse that complemented her outfit perfectly. However, the evening ended on a somber note as the Bears lost 6-3, with a late interception by quarterback Caleb Williams sealing their 10th consecutive defeat.
Despite the loss, Biles remained a proud and supportive wife, celebrating Owens as she has done throughout their relationship. Married in April 2023, the couple spent Christmas a bit differently this year due to Owens' game-day commitments. "Christmas looks a lil different when ya man gotta report to the hotel," Biles quipped in a Dec. 25 Instagram Story of the pair relaxing in bed before his matchup.
Known for her bold and creative game-day looks, Biles recently shared her unique approach to planning outfits. In an exclusive interview with Olympics.com, published on Dec. 24, she explained, "I reach out to some of the creators that make the apparel and let them freeball it. I tell them, 'Surprise me,' and then I piece the outfits together."
Some of her standout outfits include a denim jacket-and-jeans set emblazoned with "Owens" and custom drawstring joggers bearing their last name. Even her more understated looks, like an all-black ensemble featuring a Prada bucket hat, puffer coat, and $1,390 Prada ski boots, highlight her effortless style. On Dec. 22, she sported a shirt with Owens' number bedazzled on it, showcasing her dedication to blending fashion and fandom.
Whether in custom creations or chic back-ups, Biles continues to be her husband's number-one cheerleader, proving that love and style go hand in hand.
