On Monday, August 12, the 27-year-old gymnast—who won three gold medals and one silver in Paris—shared Instagram Stories of her celebrating at L'Arc Paris nightclub after the closing ceremony.

Biles posted two videos from the club, where signs reading "gym legend" were held up. She humorously captioned it, "The reason I'm unwell this morning."

After sharing a photo of her plane landing in the U.S., Biles posted another clip of herself dancing and singing to Waka Flocka Flame's "Grove St. Party" at the club, tagging her sister Adria. She joked, "If you see me out at the club, pls tell me to go home for my own sake & health in the am," with a laughing emoji.

Once home, Biles shared a picture of a pool with an orange sky and captioned it "Home" with a teary-eyed emoji, followed by a selfie from bed, saying, "Never been so happy."

Biles' posts came after she had the honor of carrying the Olympic flag during Sunday’s closing ceremony. Wearing a precautionary boot on her foot, she walked onto the Stade de France stage with Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass as H.E.R. performed the U.S. national anthem. The ceremony reached its peak when Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance.

Biles later posted a carousel of images from the closing ceremony on Instagram, writing, "closing ceremonies  and expressed her gratitude for representing the United States, saying, "I haven’t found the right words to describe my Olympic experience, it’s been a whirlwind… but I do know, I’ll be forever grateful."

Tom Cruise, who received the Olympic flag from Biles as the Games transitioned to Los Angeles 2028, commented on her post, "Simone, it was an absolute honor to receive the Olympic flag from you this weekend. Your artistry is one-of-a-kind. Witnessing your dedication to your craft first-hand over the past several weeks has been a true pleasure!"
