Conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk was shot on Wednesday while addressing students at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Authorities confirmed that a suspect is in custody, and Kirk was rushed to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck. His condition remains critical, according to officials familiar with the matter.

Irfaan Ali was officially sworn in on Sunday for a second term as president of Guyana, reinforcing his leadership of the oil-rich South American nation. Backed by the ruling People’s Progressive Party/Civic, Ali secured 36 parliamentary seats in the September 1 election, strengthening his majority by three compared to the last term.

The boxing world has once again been thrown into a frenzy as two of the sport's most iconic figures, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr., are set to meet in early 2026. The announcement by CSI Sports confirmed what many thought impossible: a clash between two Hall of Famers whose names alone define an era of boxing greatness. Tyson, who turns sixty next year, returns to the ring following his loss to Jake Paul in an eight-round contest last year. Mayweather, still unbeaten at forty-eight, accepted the match as an exhibition designed to give fans a spectacle unlike any other.

Two children were killed and 17 others hurt when a gunman opened fire at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis during morning Mass on Wednesday. Authorities said the attack occurred just before 8:30 a.m., during a schoolwide Mass marking the first week of classes. Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed that the victims included two children, aged eight and ten, who were killed as they sat in the pews.
