Beyoncé Knowles-Carter made her fourth night of the _Cowboy Carter_ tour in London a heartfelt celebration as she paused her June 12
performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to wish her twins, Rumi and Sir, a happy eighth birthday. The emotional moment took place before the
twins' actual birthday on June 13, making it the perfect occasion for an early tribute.

"Everybody say happy birthday, Rumi," Beyoncé said on stage, promptinga chorus from the crowd. She then added, "Say happy birthday, Sir! Mommy loves you," as fans continued to cheer. The moment was made even sweeter with Rumi present on stage, smiling and burying her head into her mother’s waist as Beyoncé embraced her. Big sister Blue Ivy, 13, also joined the celebration, affectionately grabbing Rumi’s chin during the
touching tribute.

This special gesture came during Beyoncé’s “Protector” performance, which often includes appearances by her daughters. The track opens with Rumi’s voice saying, "Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?”—a detail fans have grown to anticipate with each show. Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed Blue Ivy in 2012, and twins Rumi and Sir followed in 2017.

After the twins were born, Jay-Z explained the inspiration behind their names: “Rumi is our favorite poet, so it was for our daughter,” heshared. “Sir was like, man, come out the gate. He carries himself like that. He just came out, like, Sir.”

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, also recently shared insights about her grandchildren. “Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator,” Knowles told E! News, adding that “Sir is very quiet” and more interested in “numbers stuff” than fashion. Beyoncé launched her _Cowboy Carter_ tour on April 28 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The nine-city tour spans the U.S. and Europe, concluding in Las Vegas on July 26.
