Goodness Chijioke O, popularly known as , made headlines a few days ago when he, with support from friends, buried himself alive for 24 hours. His action sparked mixed reactions, with many wondering what might have pushed him into doing so.

In an exclusive interview, the 26-year-old gave an insight into his decision to bury himself for 24 hours.

He answered the recurring questions from netizens and opened up about his experience in the coffin. Young C Moneygod revealed that he buried himself alive for specific reasons, one of which was to profit from the virality of his challenge video.

He added that he did it to earn a living instead of indulging in fraud and other criminal activities. According to him, he thought he would make some money from his social media platforms after uploading the video.

When asked about his experience of being in a coffin for 24 hours, the YouTuber mentioned he had mixed feelings. He described it as terrible, fun, and an adventure but advised others to desist if they lacked the necessary tools to embark on the journey.

The history and international studies graduate stated that the challenge taught him humans can't live without oxygen. He expressed delight at ignoring his naysayers and hinted at future risky challenges. Young C, however, preferred not to let the cat out of the bag for fear of his ideas being stolen.

Young C attempted to replicate a challenge that American YouTuber James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson, aka MrBeast, has undertaken twice.

In November 2023, MrBeast was buried alive for seven days while attempting to break his previous 50-hour record. He was buried in a specially designed coffin with cameras and lights to monitor him throughout the challenge.
