According to documents obtained by RADAR online, Diddy is requesting that one of his lawsuit be dismissed because he believes that it was filed too late under the law and that the lawsuit is “false and hideous.” The woman, who is unidentified and going by Jane Doe claims that she was raped when she was only 17 years in the 90s. She claims that she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol when Diddy and two other men raped her.
In as much as the incident happened over 30 years ago, the victim was able to file the lawsuit under New York City’s victims of Gender- Motivated Violence Protection law which provides deadlines extensions for filing. Diddy’s legal team argues that the victim’s statement is hideous because she can’t remember all the details except the sexual assault one. They argue that it was filed too late according to the New York State Laws and the state limitations should always exceed the city’s.
“ Mr. Combs and his companies categorically deny plaintiff’s decades old tale against them, which has caused incalculable damage to their reputation and business standing before any evidence has been presented, “ The filing reads. “ Plaintiff cannot alleged what day or time of the year that incident occurred, but miraculously remembers other salacious details, despite her alleged incapacitated condition.”
The filing requests that the case be dismissed with prejudice to protect Sean Diddy Combs from further reputational injury and resources. According to a statement by Doe’s lawyers, they stated that their client claims are valid and that Combs should take accountability for the gang rape and sexual assault claims. The lawyers claimed that Diddy’s words should not be trusted.
