Jada Cheaves, who is famously known as Lil Baby’s baby mama, a businesswoman, a social media influencer and an actress has found herself in a controversy after being accused of stealing from a small swimsuit designer. “During my time in nursing school, l launched my own business to fund my nursing education,” Said the business owner under eaunoirswim Instagram account.

The owner alleged that she co-founded the brand in June 2019, and reached out to Jayda Cheaves’ manager to propose Jayda advertising the swimsuit and a $ 4000 payment. Jayda posted a picture of herself wearing the swimsuit and tagged the creator as per the agreement. They worked together till June 2021 after Jayda expressed her focus on starting her own brand.

Despite the overwhelming evidence, Jayda at first stated that fashion is about remaking and recreating. “As l sat with this issue, l realized just because this happens to me daily doesn’t make it right for me to do the same whether it’s been years, months or days. Imma take the L, stop the production and get in the booth with my design team. Simple. I take pride in always doing good business,” Jayda posted on Snapchat.

She went ahead to post a screenshot of her texting the Instagram account “Swimwear for the Bold”, the page belonging to the swimwear designer she copied. She stated that she decided to do a similar design after she noticed that they stopped selling bikinis since 2021. She took accountability and claimed she knows how it feels being the victim because she had gone through the same thing. She assured the designer that she would not be selling the swimsuit inspired by their company. “Maybe one day we can celebrate on something even hotter. Sorry again,” She wrote.
