Music legend Lionel Richie is set to embark on a new UK and European tour next year, calling it the "best touring spot in the world." The Grammy Award-winning singer will kick off his "Say Hello To The Hits" tour in Belfast on May 31, 2024, and conclude in Madrid on August 2. Along the way, Richie will perform in major cities like London, Dublin, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Speaking about his love for touring in Europe, Richie described the continent as his second home, telling Reuters, "If you build a loyal fan base in Europe and Britain, you've got this for life." For the 75-year-old star, the tour feels more like a holiday than work. "It's my vacation... I look forward to it," he said, noting that playing in Europe allows him to reconnect with fans he considers friends.

Richie, known for timeless hits such as "Hello" and "Dancing on the Ceiling," has sold over 125 million albums globally. He began his career as part of The Commodores before achieving massive success as a solo artist in the 1980s. His longevity in the music industry, spanning five decades, has made him a household name across generations.

Last month, Richie extended his popular "King of Hearts" residency in Las Vegas into 2025. Reflecting on his enduring success, he said, "As far as how it's lasted this long, only God knows, but it's been a wonderful journey over the last 50 years."

Fans eagerly anticipate the 2024 tour, which promises to celebrate Richie's vast catalog of hits and showcase why he remains one of music's most beloved performers.
