At Corinne Foxx's marriage to Joe Hooten, Jamie Foxx was a proud father of the bride. As seen in pictures posted by attendee Garcelle Beauvais that have since been removed, the 56-year-old Oscar winner and his 30-year-old daughter looked happy as he led her down the aisle at the Sept. 21 event.
The cast member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, who costarred with Jamie Foxx on the 90s and early aughts series The Jamie Foxx Show and played the First Lady to His President character in the 2013 film White House Down, also shared photos of Corinne exchanging vows with Joe at the ceremony and dancing with her dad at the reception.
The actress wrote, Last night we got to witness & celebrate the love of @corinnefoxx and @joe.hooten, as the caption for a photo she shared on Instagram on September 22. You two clearly love and respect one another. Corinne, you looked amazing.
The bride wore an ivory, floral, short-sleeved, off-the-shoulder, asymmetrical bridal gown, paired with pointed pumps and a cathedral-length veil. She co-stars with Jamie on the game show Beat Shazam. She also had a bouquet of white roses. Joe and Jamie both sported black tuxes. The Ray actor, who had sparked romance rumors with Alyce Huckstepp for more than a year, attended the wedding with her, as seen in another photo that Garcelle shared.
Corinne, whose mother is Jamie's ex-girlfriend Connie Kline, and Joe, a producer, met at the University of Southern California a few years ago through a mutual friend and got back in touch after graduation. Corinne commented, I was bold and liked an old picture of Joe on Instagram, to the wedding blog Over the Moon. He messaged me right away and asked to go on a date. Actually, Joe was living on a sailboat when we went on our first date.
In December of last year, five years later, Corinne disclosed on social media that she was engaged to Joe and shared a picture of what looked to be a sizable emerald-cut diamond ring. Following his daughter's announcement, Jamie, who was present at a surprise post- proposal engagement party, commented on Instagram, saying, You are a perfect example of what being in love is. You care about each other's lives, mental and physical, and you have each other's back.
Together with his ex-partner Kristin Grannis, Jamie is the father of 15-year-old daughter Anelise Bishop. Jamie claimed Joe informed him that Joe intended to pop the question to Corinne. When you whispered to me a while back that you were going to ask my baby girl to marry you, the comedian wrote. Joyful tears filled my soul... and @corinnefoxx, you hold a particular place in my heart and always have. You are richly deserving of love. Thus, once more, congrats to you too. eager to lead you along that [aisle].
You have a great soul in @joe.hooten, Jamie continued. I adore you both very much. My tissues are ready. Corinne wrote, We love you, Dad!!!! in response to his post.
