In a candid interview with PEOPLE magazine , Terry Crews, the charismatic host of "America's Got Talent" (AGT), revealed a deeply personal struggle he and his wife Rebecca King-Crews have faced: the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages.

"Me and my wife, we know what it's like to lose a child. We've had three miscarriages," Crews shared, his words resonating with profound emotion. The 56-year-old actor's revelation came in the wake of a poignant drone performance on AGT that depicted the story of child loss, choreographed to Lily Meola's touching ballad "Butterfly."

Crews reflected on the performance's impact, stating, "It's one of those things where it was so meaningful and special because the dedication isjust, it's a way to process these things." The emotional display struck a chord with the audience, prompting Crews to acknowledge, "I think the
show needed it."

The couple's journey through loss has been a private one until now. Married since 1989, Terry and Rebecca have built a family of five children: Naomi (37), Azriél (33), Tera (26), Wynfrey (21), and Isaiah (19). Their family story began even before their marriage, with Terryadopting Rebecca's daughter Naomi from a previous relationship.

In discussing coping mechanisms, Crews emphasized the importance of communication and self-reflection. "I sit in a room and listen to music
and it helps me process... all the things I'm feeling," he explained. "Then the other thing is I just talk to my wife. We talk it out. We have really, really nice long, deep conversations."

The former NFL player turned actor stressed the healing power of these intimate discussions: "Turn the TV off, turn the phone off and let's just talk it through. And it's amazing what that does. You know what I mean? Definitely. It really, truly, you turn around an hour later you're like, 'Wow, I can handle anything.'"

Crews' openness about this deeply personal matter aligns with a growing trend of public figures sharing their experiences with pregnancy loss.
By doing so, they help break the silence surrounding miscarriage and provide comfort to others facing similar challenges.

In a 2022 interview with Parade, Crews had already hinted at the profound impact of fatherhood on his life: "We kind of wrap everything up in achievements, but the movies and all the things I've done? They're not my legacy. It's really my son, and my daughters, and my family. That's the legacy."
