Travis Kelce has earned Niecy Nash-Betts' seal of approval. According to an inside source, the Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, and the actress, 54, quickly bonded while filming Ryan Murphy's upcoming horror series Grotesquerie. "They had a blast working together. She absolutely adores him," the source shared, adding that Kelce was in high spirits on set, and his chemistry with Nash-Betts was effortless. The insider also noted that the Emmy winner is quick to judge people, but Kelce "immediately got her approval."

In May, Nash-Betts excitedly announced Kelce’s involvement in the FX series via Instagram, sharing a video of the two on set. "Guess who I’m working with on Grotesquerie?" she teased, showing Kelce, who responded, "Jumping into new territory with Niecy!" The pair has since formed a close friendship, often sharing fun clips of themselves dancing and joking around on set.

During a June interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nash-Betts revealed that Kelce was impressing her with his acting skills. "He’s doing really well," she said, admitting she’s been helping him with his lines. Their rehearsals, she joked, often involve them eating In-N-Out while reading scripts together.

Though Nash-Betts has full confidence in Kelce, he acknowledged the challenge of acting during a Good Morning America appearance in June. "It’s definitely different from just playing myself," he admitted, referring to his past TV appearances. "Portraying a character, understanding the emotions and the script — it’s tough. I feel like a rookie right now, but I’m coachable."

Kelce added that his experience in sports has taught him how to adapt. "One thing I know from being an athlete is how to be coachable. I’m learning, and I’m ready for the challenge," he shared, highlighting his determination to improve his acting chops.
