Kim Kardashian is not just skimming the surface of her most recent injury.The Kardashians actress described how she shattered her left index and middle finger to the point that the bone was "sticking out a little bit," saying that she was distracted while closing a heavy door by her 8-year-old son Saint, who she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West.
Kim opened the July 18 episode of The Kardashians with, "My big sliding door in my bathroom opens up. I was shutting it, and there's no latch." It is necessary to remove the mechanics' internal components."
Usually, Kim would hold out her left hand to keep the door from shutting all the way. The reality star, though, admitted that she "pulled it really hard" when Saint unexpectedly showed up in the room with a snack.
"Saint came in with chips," Kim, a mother of three children, said. "I said, 'It's 8:30 at night; no chips!'" Kim also has children named North, 11, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.The door then "went boom" on her fingers at that moment. According to the 43-year-old, "I literally looked at my hand and I fell to the ground," and in a confessional, "I just grabbed the table and got on my knees because I just saw all this blood."
Kim went on, "It hurts so bad. Your entire body goes into shock, and you are unable to express the anguish. It was more painful than childbirth."
The founder of SKIMS saw a plastic surgeon after the bizarre mishapbecause she was left with what she described as a "floating piece of bone" in her finger.
"The tip broke off," she wrote following her appointment with the physician. "And he’s like, 'It's a possibility that your nail will never
grow back.'"
Nevertheless, the American Horror Story actress is not giving up, even making a joke about how she'll "invent a nail implant" if necessary to keep going.
