Rita Ora recently shared fond memories of attending Taylor Swift's Eras Tour with Katy Perry. During her July 9 appearance on The Tonight ShowStarring Jimmy Fallon, the 33-year-old "Anywhere" singer recounted her experience at Swift's first Sydney show on February 23, 2024, which she attended alongside her friend, Perry, 39.
"That's my buddy," Ora said about the "Roar" singer, adding, "The pop girls really united for this one." Ora explained how their attendance at the Eras Tour came to be: "We were both in Australia for different projects, and of course, everyone knows about the Eras Tour." She shared her excitement about the concert, saying, "I really wanted to just hang out," noting that she attended the show with her husband, Taika Waititi.

When asked if they attracted attention at the event, Ora humorously remarked, "It was wild because when there are multiple people together, it amplifies the energy, and you start to feel more significant than you are." She also expressed her happiness at reconnecting with Perry, saying, "It was great to see her after so long, and she's been putting out music. Everyone’s doing their thing."

Ora and Perry both posted photos from the concert on Instagram. Ora shared pictures posing with Swift, 34, and Waititi, 48, and included images with Perry. Another shot showed her with Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce. In one selfie, Ora displayed multiple friendship bracelets and also shared a photo and video of Swift performing "Bad Blood."

"Sydney always delivers—or should I say TayTay @taylorswift always delivers! Thank you for having us! Seeing my KP @katyperry made my heart So many queens to count!" Ora captioned her post.

Perry also shared a selfie with Swift on her Instagram and posted a clip of her and Ora singing along to "You Belong With Me," along with other highlights from the concert. "Got to see an old friend shine tonight," Perry wrote, including a video of herself mouthing the lyrics to "Bad Blood" with a surprised expression.

Perry and Swift have now resolved their differences after a long-standing feud, which was reportedly the inspiration for Swift's "Bad Blood" and Perry's "Swish Swish." In a 2020 interview on The Howard Stern Show, Perry explained their reconciliation, saying they wanted to set an example for their younger fans. "Gossip in life can take the elevator, but the truth takes the stairs. It just takes time," she said, adding, "What I’m so grateful for is we did get to make up publicly and be an example of redemption for young girls."
