Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's children are already stepping into the fashion spotlight. Their sons, 2-year-old RZA and 10-month-old Riot Rose, star alongside their dad in Bottega Veneta's latest campaign, "Portraits of Fatherhood."
Photographed by Carrie Mae Weems and commissioned by the brand’s creative director, Matthieu Blazy, the black-and-white series captures Rocky, 35, interacting with his toddlers in a cozy, home-like setting. The campaign, released to celebrate Father's Day and Rocky's new role as Bottega Veneta's brand ambassador, includes a Weems-directed short film with music direction by A$AP Rocky.
In one adorable photo, RZA sits on Rocky's shoulders, while another shows the "Everyday" rapper kissing Riot's forehead as he holds him up. Another image features the boys in onesies that read "best dad," playing on a toddler-sized piano next to Rocky at a full-size piano.
Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, expressed his pride in the series, calling it "the evolution of Mr. Mayers." He said, "This is me embodying andembracing fatherhood, parenthood, companionship, and family, while stillworking on all aspects of my career." He emphasized that the series represents a significant shift in his public image, highlighting theimportance of fatherhood and challenging the typical rapper persona.
In an Instagram post announcing the series and his ambassadorship, Rockythanked Weems and expressed his joy in working alongside his family. "It was a pleasure to work a longside my children & family x Mattiau blazy x Bottega veneta x Carrie mae weems to bring u This heartfelt father's day piece," he wrote. "This special moment captures the vulnerability, love and interaction between my sons and I. I'm proud 2 be the man they call dadda happy father day to all proud dads out there ASAP."
Rihanna and Rocky, who were friends and collaborators for nearly a decade before their romance began in 2020, keep their family life private. However, Rihanna recently shared that Riot and RZA are "obsessed" with their dad and described Rocky as a "great, patient, loving" father.
