Kris Jenner is shedding light on her recent health struggles and the difficult decisions she's had to make. The reality star revealed on the July 4 episode of *The Kardashians* that she plans to have her ovaries surgically removed after being diagnosed with a tumor on one of the organs.

"I went to the doctor and I had my scan", Kris tearfully told her daughters, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner. "They found a cyst". The 68-year-old matriarch, who is also mother to Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, explained that her doctors recommended the removal of her ovaries.

Despite not feeling nervous about the procedure itself, Kris expressed deep emotions about parting with the organs that played a pivotal role in her journey to motherhood. "That's where all my kids were conceived", she said, reflecting on the significance. "It's also a thing about getting older. It's a sign of we're done with this part of your life. It's a whole chapter that's just closed".

In a separate confessional, Kris shared the importance of her role as a mother. “People often ask me what is the best job you’ve ever had, and I always say mom. The biggest blessing in my life was being able to give birth to six beautiful kids.”

Her family quickly rallied around her with unwavering support. Kourtney, who checked in on Kris via a call, empathized deeply. "I totally understand how my mom is feeling because I would feel the same way. It’s your womanly power", she said in a confessional. "It doesn’t mean it’s taking away who she is or what she’s experienced, but I would feel this sentimental feeling of what it’s created".

Kim also shared her empathy and concern. "To have a surgery and remove your ovaries is a really big deal", the SKIMS mogul said. "I couldn’t even imagine being in that situation". Kris' longtime boyfriend, Corey Gamble, showed his support by surprising her with a special gift to "help your energy". Presenting her with a Prada coat, Corey reassured her, "I don’t want you to be sad. Babe, you’re gonna cry at least 15 more times, so I want you to have a gift".

Kris, keeping her head up, even managed to joke about the situation. After receiving the coat, she quipped to her family, "I’m not sad anymore. It’s amazing how new clothes fix everything," wiping away her tears with a smile.
