Meagan Good made a striking appearance on Thursday, June 12, at an event celebrating her latest project, Divorce in the Black, where she attended without her boyfriend, Jonathan Majors. The 42-year-old actress captivated onlookers in a bohemian-inspired two-piece ensemble that
highlighted her toned abdomen, complemented by a stylish brim hat. On the red carpet, she posed alongside co-stars Cory Hardrict and Richard Lawson, who also star in the Tyler Perry-written and directed film.
Divorce in the Black, set to premiere on Prime Video on Thursday, July 11, tells the story of Ava, a young bank professional devastated by her husband Dallas' abandonment of their marriage, which she is determined to salvage. However, as the plot unfolds, revelations of Dallas' deceitful actions jeopardize Ava's journey to find true love and her soulmate.
Earlier in June, Good and Majors made their first public appearance together since Majors was sentenced to enroll in a "batterers intervention program" following a conviction for misdemeanor assault and harassment related to a March 2023 incident involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
Despite the challenging circumstances, a source confirmed to PEOPLE in February that Good and Majors share a strong and loving relationship, living together. This marks a significant chapter for Good, who finalized her divorce from ex-husband DeVon Franklin in June 2022 after nine years of marriage. PEOPLE first reported their dating status in May 2023.
Reflecting on her current phase at the NAACP Image Awards in March, Good expressed gratitude amidst life's changes. "I'm in love, I’m transioning I’m healing, I’m growing [and] I’m getting excited about what's next," she shared. "I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time."
