The WNBA has announced a record-breaking broadcast lineup for its 30th season, with 216 regular season games and events set to air across multiple platforms throughout the year.

Following what league officials described as a standout 2025 season, the expanded coverage reflects growing interest in the sport and its players. Commissioner Cathy Engelbert noted that the upcoming season builds on that momentum, pointing to a strong draft class and major free agency moves that have reshaped team rosters. She emphasized that the wide range of broadcast and streaming partners will bring greater visibility to key matchups and highlight the league’s top talent.

Games will be distributed across major networks and streaming services including ABC and ESPN, CBS, Amazon Prime Video, ION, NBC, USA Network and NBA TV. ESPN and ABC will combine to air 30 games, with 13 of those appearing on ABC. The network will also carry the All Star Game as part of its coverage.

Opening weekend will feature a high-profile doubleheader. One game will showcase Caitlin Clark leading Indiana against Paige Bueckers and Dallas, while the second will see defending champions Las Vegas take on Phoenix in a rematch of the previous Finals.

CBS is increasing its presence with eight primetime broadcasts this season, a notable rise from the previous year. Meanwhile, ION will continue its Friday night doubleheader format, airing more than 50 games.

Streaming will also play a significant role. Amazon Prime Video is set to carry 31 games, including the Commissioner’s Cup championship scheduled for June 30. NBC is rejoining the league’s broadcast rotation with seven Sunday games, while its streaming platform Peacock will air 12 Monday matchups and stream every game of the Finals.

USA Network will feature 48 games across Monday and Wednesday nights, and NBA TV will add another 15 games to the schedule.

Altogether, the expanded media coverage signals a major step forward for the league as it enters a milestone season, offering fans more ways than ever to watch games and follow their favorite teams and players.
